Description
Glaucoma management has evolved well beyond a drop-centric paradigm into a procedural spectrum that includes laser therapy, sustained-release drug delivery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and traditional incisional surgery. With expanding options comes increasing complexity in determining what to do, when to do it, and for whom.
Designed in direct response to the needs and interests identified in the ASCRS Clinical Survey, this high-impact, evidence-based webinar features four glaucoma experts, each addressing 4 key pillars of modern glaucoma care: laser treatments, drug delivery, MIGS, and incisional surgery.

Learning Objectives
Ophthalmologists attending this program should be able to:
- Differentiate appropriate patient selection for laser trabeculoplasty/iridotomy, sustained-release drug delivery, MIGS, and traditional incisional glaucoma surgery based on current evidence, technology and techniques.
- Discuss incorporation of sustained-release and intracameral drug delivery options into glaucoma treatment practice to reduce medication burden and improve adherence.
- Compare current technology and techniques to select the optimal MIGS procedure for specific clinical scenarios during cataract and standalone surgery.
- Explain when and why to transition patients from minimally invasive options to traditional incisional surgery to maximize long-term IOP control and visual outcomes.
